OWNER, INTEGRATIVE MENTAL HEALTH NP
Dr. Kendra Delaney (she/her)
PhD, PMHNP, AGPCNP, RN
Welcome to Empowered Heart Integrative Mental Health Care, PLLC. I’m Kendra Delaney (she/her) and I’m a double board certified psychiatric mental health and adult primary care nurse practitioner in Nashville, TN. I grew up in the Northeast, but after moving to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt for my bachelor's in psychology, I fell in love with the school, my now-husband, and this city, and I’ve never looked back.
In 2017 I graduated Vanderbilt University School of Nursing with my psychiatric nurse practitioner degree with one simple mission: to empower people to heal their hearts and their bodies. Since that time, I have worked with countless folx with mood disorders; perinatal and postpartum anxiety and PMDD; ADHD; PTSD and dissociative disorders; and disordered eating. Pulling from my experience as an psychiatric nurse practitioner, my role as an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, and my training in integrative psychiatric and functional medicine through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and Institute for Functional Medicine, in 2020 I started Empowered Heart to pursue my dream of providing holistic mental healthcare to all.
I aim to work with you to create a treatment plan that moves you towards your health goals. By incorporating medicine, lifestyle changes, herbs, supplements, psychotherapy and mind-body interventions, I tailor each treatment plan to your unique needs. I look forward to meeting you, and to walking alongside you in your path to healing!

Hailee Hunt-Hawkins (she/her)
PMHNP, RN
I’m Hailee Hunt-Hawkins (she/her) and I’m a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in Nashville, TN. I was born and raised here in Nashville and feel grateful to get to raise my girls in the city I grew up in!
I graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2022 with my psychiatric nurse practitioner degree and am currently working on a Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Masters certificate at University of Southern Indiana. Before coming to this profession, I spent nearly 10 years working with folx with developmental disabilities, specifically Prader-Willi syndrome and Williams syndrome, and their families. I am passionate about working with neurodiverse children and adults and their families and seek to embrace the unique creativity they bring to the world while supporting the challenges they may face. I also enjoy working with neurotypical folx and families looking for support in mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, and more. I enjoy working in family systems and empowering generational health and wellness. I work with folx 5 years and older and practice with a focus on integrative care and a holistic approach to patient care.
My goals is to work alongside you to enhance your mental wellness. I consider it an honor to be invited into the vulnerable spaces of your life and walk beside you towards healing. Through a combination of relational healing, therapeutic skills, medicinal treatments, herbal supplements, and intentional lifestyle changes I believe we can make lasting change together!
